Celebrating Rosh Hashanah
We celebrated Rosh Hashanah with apples and honey. The children used an apple slicer and then dipped their slices of apple into honey for a sweet snack.

Recording Work
In the Montessori classroom there are no worksheets. So how do parents know what their children are doing? Our students are given the opportunity to record their work if they want. We don't force them to write or copy anything. We don't give them paper to fill in the blanks. We give them plain paper and let them write or draw their work how they see it. There is no right or wrong way. Even if it doesn't fully represent what they did, it is how the child interprets it. Each child records in their own way, regardless of writing ability, beginner or master of writing. It is truly "their" work!
